The paradigm that a seastead needs to take advantage of a seamount to make anchoring feasible is a flawed paradigm. Anchoring is “equal expensive and possible” in any part of the oceans with modern rigs. The depth matters very little once you go to multiple line mooring sistems. The bigger the structure, the less of a problem anchoring becomes as the structure moves less and the stress to the mooring sistem becomes less dynamic.
